COMPSTAT Citywide Profile

I think still 3714 Aggravated assaults is huge and 271 rapes is out of line... go defenders. I often wonder if a person who carries and knows how to use a defender would become one of these stats? As you look over these stats, you just have to wonder what if they had a defender. I know from the lots of stories I get in from around the world just the sight of a defender has stopped attacks in their place. Other stories is that they use them during the attack for their self defense and that has stopped the attack too. You just have to wonder about victims and attacks, don't you? When it comes down to women's self defense or personal self defense, defenders make all the since in the world. Master Peter Brusso

New Defender

We have a new defender out! I was always looking for a smaller defender, credit card size, and on of our fans came up with one, independently. We call it the RP defender, after the inventor or mashup artist, Robert Pearson. He send me a picture of one, and I sent it to Jon Jenkins Sensei... and he prototyped several up for examination. He, I liked it. So I moved it forward into production will all the rights and presto, we have a new pocket size defender. It's selling well too I might add. So, keep this a quick post, go take a look and let me know what you think. I do believe it will be great for womens self defense, personal self defense, personal safety, and martial arts.

Take a look at these stats... a defender would lower three categories... Rape, Robbery and Agg Assaults!!!! Self defense is very important and you should never just rely on police or the like for your personal self defense. Become proactive... Carry a defender 1 or defender 2 at least.... enjoy...

Suspect in Dallas police chase that ended on Love Field runway indicted on federal charges

As we can see, a defender in the car might have stopped this car jacking nut altogether! When you think of your self defense, it isn't always where you might think you have to defend yourself. A self defense weapon (defender) should be handy in your car too! I would suggest a more aggressive tool like a Defender 2 or the like. Don't give a car jacker a chance to destroy your day or your family!!!!

Suspect in Dallas police chase that ended on Love Field runway indicted on federal charges: "

Michael BrowneA federal grand jury has indicted a carjacking suspect who led police on a wild August chase that ended on a Dallas Love Field runway in August.

Michael Laurence Browne (right), 46, of Dallas faces one count of interfering with security screening personnel, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Dallas. The indictment, which is posted below, alleges that Browne knowingly assaulted an airport security employee with a dangerous weapon (his truck) when he drove through a fence and nearly hit the guard, the U.S. attorney's office said.

Browne also faces charges in a string of violent robberies throughout the Dallas area committed in the weeks before his August 19 arrest.

If convicted of the federal charge, Browne faces up to life in prison and a $250,000 fine. He remains in the Dallas County Jail, where his bail is set at $870,000.

Car Stops and Violent Crime Control: Crime in America.Net

Although this isn't a "defender" or a "self defense weapon" story I thought it was good for all of us to read. Self defense and womens self defense comes in many flavors and colors. Just remember that when or if you ever get pulled over. A good article!!!

Car Stops and Violent Crime Control: Crime in America.Net: "One of us was operating a government vehicle (a fancier version than most) in a high-crime area and was pulled over by the police. The officer explained that he had not come to a full stop at a stop sign; an exaggeration at best. The officer asked him to explain his presence in the neighborhood. He pulled [...]"

Defender Newsletter for June is up!

Hey all, I just finished the defender newsletter for June 2010. In it I talk about self defense videos, the Berlin wall, and where to get FREE online martial arts training. I want to thank everyone for their kind words about the newsletter the the growing PDWS.biz site. Our Self Defense Weapon is really growing and is around the world now, keeping people safe. Let me share one email...

On the left is the Berlin wall and a Clear Defender 1... here is what he had to say...

Attached is a picture of me taken 3 days ago holding my clear Defender 1 in front of what is left of the Berlin Wall. This was the last stop of a trip that also took me to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - all in the company of my trusty Defender 1. The clear one is the Boss! No one even notices it. And after carrying it in some seedy places, you really realize the psychological edge you have over anyone else - especially if you have seen what it can do ;-)Kristijonas

Cool huh!!!! Note how the defender has "empowered him" and he walks without fear!!! Very cool....

Well the link to the newsletter is here: http://www.pdws.biz/pdfs/JuneNewsletter2010.pdf

Also, with Fathers day coming up really fast, consider our fathers day gift package: http://www.pdws.biz/Holiday_Specials.html

With the economy the way it is, and I should write more on this but suffice it to say there is a lot of violence out there so be safe and always carry your defender with you!
