We got our new breakaway lanyard for our defer

We are super pleased to announce that we developed our new breakaway lanyard system for our self defense weapons. Why is this necessary?

Many of our tools have been carried in war, and we see pictures of our military "searching" a person or vehicle with their defenders on fixed lanyards attached to their wrists. This isn't a very good option as if someone grabs your weapon; it's attached to your arm. So, we developed a breakaway clip that requires a rather hard "tug" to disengage, but it free's the weapon from your arm.

Now, if you need two hands, you can drop your weapon with this lanyard and let it dangle safely. Then with a quick whip of your arm, the self defense weapon will whip back up into your hand, ready for use. Also, this lanyard has a loop that is adjustable around your wrist, so it fits both small and large wrists. Also, it comes with a hook for your pants or web gear, very much like our standard lanyard can use a hook, but this one comes with the hook provided.

The lanyard also ties onto any of our tools, so you have a full selection of which tool you wish to carry with you. If you are a runner, you can hold onto your self defense weapon, but if you need to tie your shoe, open a gate, or even get a drink, you can drop your tool and let it dangle safely from your wrist. With a quick flip of your arm, the self defense weapon is back in your hand, ready for use.

With any thought of how you carry a weapon, self defense tool, or the like, how you can approach other tasks and what you do with your weapon is an important thing to consider. This new lanyard helps solve all those issues, and we are sure you will love this new lanyard.

The new Max Nail Self Defense Weapon is now ready!

The New Max Nail Self Defense Weapon

The new max nail "railroad" spike is now out of development and ready for sale. It has taken us far too long in development, but the weapon didn't act like anything we had seen before. I have been working with roped weapons for over 60 years, and I have never seen anything like this.

We commonly throw knives, knives on ropes, chain weapons, and a weighted weapon known as a "Nitsubo." However, nothing even comes close to this thing. I had my students throw it too, and they all came away, saying the same thing "devastating."

We had to modify the railroad spike to throw it and use it in close-quarter combat, much like a defender self defense weapon. We added what we call a "swallowtail" to the end, which bites into your tissue and delivers lots of pain. We also had to drill two holes into the nail's shaft to get it to throw correctly. The last addition of each nail has a "stamped number" on the nail's head, so it's unique plus a collectible.

In our field testing, we also developed a kydex holster for the Max Nail that makes it easy to carry. It is a very robust clip system that fits and holds nicely to a belt, pants, or web gear. Also, in-field testing, one of our Max Nails defended a store in Mn from looters, and that is a funny story.

In short, the store owner took our advice and stood in the doorway of his shop with the Max Nail. When the looters came, a few moves on the looters and they wanted nothing more to do with him or the store. He said he watched them move across the street, and as they did, they kept looking back to make sure he was not going to attack them anymore. The shop owner said there was a nice blood trail across the street too! Here is the training video for your enjoyment, and make sure to come to visit us at https://pdws.biz.
