I think still 3714 Aggravated assaults is huge and 271 rapes is out of line... go defenders. I often wonder if a person who carries and knows how to use a defender would become one of these stats? As you look over these stats, you just have to wonder what if they had a defender. I know from the lots of stories I get in from around the world just the sight of a defender has stopped attacks in their place. Other stories is that they use them during the attack for their self defense and that has stopped the attack too. You just have to wonder about victims and attacks, don't you?
