Dangerous Pedophile Clusters Shelter Sex Offenders

This is another great reason to get your kids into the self defense weapon... The weapons could be taught to children to protect them these scum bags! Don't let your kids be a victim... PLEASE....

Dangerous Pedophile Clusters Shelter Sex Offenders: "When police raided the home of convicted sex offender Philip Garrido and freed Jaycee Lee Dugard, a girl who'd been kidnapped 18 years earlier, they were astounded to learn that more than 100 other sex offenders lived is the same area."

I ran across these sites which are interesting to read... take a look see...

  • Self Defense Items to Fight Crime - Remember a self defense weapon is meant to give you time to get away from a dangerous situation. They are not meant to injure or maim-they just won’t/can’t do that. Chances are if you are reading this that crime has touched your life in ...

  • The Cane Emerges As A Self-Defense Weapon - USA Today describes a “new world of self-defense for seniors” taught by Mark Shuey, founder of Cane Masters, a Lake Tahoe, Nv.-based company that manufactures custom canes. Shuey, a tae kwon do and hapkido expert, created an exercise ...

New Self Defense Weapon articles

I have been having quite a few new articles up on our new site http://www.selfdefenseweaponsite.com and I hope everyone will go take a look and read about all these great new articles. The first article is really a review on a podcast that all self-defense weapon owners and the instructors should view. The following is a synopsis of the article and I will place links so you can go view the podcast.

The self defense weapon in the real world; most unusual class! This video comes from our sister site or rather the podcast site. Before you go and view the podcast, I want to point out a few things. This class is a mixture of martial artists....

The second article is: Womens Self Defense: Women who need to defend themselves many times have choices that will never really work for them. It is not required for a woman...

Third is: Tasers versus a hand-held self-defense weapon: Tasers have been around for many years and are quite a useful tool in its realm of expertise. I even have been associated with some of the new taser developments especially with the removable cartridge concept with tasers...

Forth is: Pepper sprays versus a hand-held self defense weapon: Pepper sprays certainly do have their place in the self Defense market; however, having been in martial arts for well over 46 years plus being very weapons oriented I know the pepper sprays do have their weaknesses...

and the Fifth is: Self defense is not a difficult thing: When you think about your self defense many thoughts come to mind; guns, knives, pepper spray, tasers, kubotans, key chains, clubs, and improvised weapons...

I will have more articles in the next coming weeks and if you have any suggestions for articles please send them to me Peter Brusso

The new site is up!

Ok.. it was about time for me to do this! The new site is going to be a lot more functional and contain a lot more information than the old site. Most importantly, the new site is more on the lines of what Google considers relevant material, or it's highly SEO'ed. You'll also see that we have a shopping cart system on the site now as opposed to being transferred over to the awarriorsway.com. Some of the new stuff on the site is a section where I'm going to write articles about self-defense weapons. Also new you will see that I'm tending to call the "defenders" self-defense weapon. I might also posed the new articles here on our blog as well. We also have a new podcast site at http://selfdefenseweapon.blip.tv/ where I intend to make a lot more podcasts that are specifically centered around the defenders. Please everyone go take a look at our new site and tell me what you think. http://www.pdws.biz/. Also, as people are teaching martial arts or the self defense weapon, make sure you instruct your students on personal safety, or if is a womens self defense class... don't forget to add the self defense tool for the best self defense that money can buy!

Defenders update

Wow.. it has been some time since I had the chance to write on this blog. Well, let me say that the defenders have been enjoying a good run, both from sales but also from the growing instructors group. Check it out here http://www.pdws.biz/Certified_Self_Defense_Weapons_Instructors.html. We now have instructors in England, Ireland, Australia, and the US. Many are really moving out too, I must say as they are holding classes and teaching. Everyone is always surprised at how these tools really work, as we all look at them and say "what the heck". However, as time moves on and more use them, its obvious what they can do.

I am also gathering more success stories and should get those up here and the site as well. I have done an upgrade to the http://www.pdws.biz/ site too. I will be adding more pages in the very near future.

I have had to secure a new manufacturing group for the tools as well. We are having them made in America, good news, and as such we are doing our part in supporting our economy.

Oh, also worth noting, our defenders have been used in Iraq and Afghanistan! Our tools go to war!! Can't get into the details but privately the stories are very good. The most interesting thing or mod that is going on is a lanyard to their wrist. This way they can let the tool dangle while they do a body search but with a quick swing up, the tool lands right in their hands ready for use again. There are always pro's and con's when it comes to things being attached to your body, but it is something that is evolving from the field and worth noting.

We also have something like 13 models now, as if we need more, but they keep getting invented. Our latest commercial version is the "stealth". As you can see it is very small and is low profile for easy of concealment plus use. One of its new items is the offset tail, as it allows for digit removal very quickly (counter grab).

We have a new "Newsletter" up on PDWS.biz

Yep.. We have a really nice newsletter up on http://www.pdws.biz or actually the precise link is : http://www.pdws.biz/DefendersDec2007NewsletterFinal.pdf
Written by Paige Brusso Sensei... I didn't know that she was a talented writer but I have found a great new talent in Paige Sensei that I intend to push... smile.. a Sensei's prerogative.

I am going to task Paige Sensei to do an Anjing Banfa newsletter too. So she may be contacting many of you for an interview.

Remember that if you are looking for that special holiday gift.. think of a Defender... We have 11 models so there has to be something for every person on your list!

I am going to try to have a "Defender Bite" video technique on Asksensei each week. I will try to isolate those chunks of video for the Defender site too.

Kerry Sensei took plastic to a knife figtht!

Yep, that’s what he did. You can see his presentation to the “Brotherhood of the Blade” seminar in Chicago this summer on Ask Sensei. Here is a link to the file: http://asksensei.blip.tv/file/356545 .

Kerry Sensei was loved by all except the people he picked to demonstrate the techniques on, as in his words: “I kept asking for volunteers and the whole room kept moving farther from me so I just started picking them”. He got a kick out of teaching the class and exposing them to a new self-defense tool.

Both he and Master Porter flew to Chicago to teach and both were well received by the group. I heard that everyone thought they were great teachers and our material was of great value to all who attended. We have also received some good orders from the group as well. In addition, the organizer (Dave Vargas) is now a big fan of the tools, so much so, that he is teaching them to a large police seminar next year. I might join him too! It is good that the tools are finally getting the exposure they deserve. Dave has even started working the tool into his classes and developing new techniques! That is just what an artist should do: absorb the tool into their techniques. Good show Dave!
