This is just sad but illustrates that we need to give our children a fighting chance. A self defense weapon might have stopped what ever happened for this poor girl. I have always been a strong advocate of self defense, plus women's self defense, and this is a case in point! Unless she went away or ran away, something isn't right about this article.

It makes you stop and think about training for self defense and multiple attackers. I have always started people out one on one, then add attackers and show the dynamics of the fight and how not to stay in the middle, where you will be defeated. Always move to the outside and keep attackers in between each other so you only have to fight 1.5 people at a time. I hate to see a story like this as this poor man should have been able to defend himself, but at last, more then one attackers is a special situation that we face more often then not. A self defense weapon also would assist in doing damage even to a knife holding attacker.... Good food for thought in this story... Also knowledge of simple weapons disarms might have helped too... its good to have many things to draw on for your best self defense.

The sister of a 46-year-old man found stabbed to death Friday morning outside a Love Field area apartment complex said their family is in shock over the violent loss of the devoted father.

"Martin did not have any enemies," said his sister, Rosemary Segura. "It is still like this is a nightmare. We need to wake up."

Coronado was stabbed multiple times in the chest about 5:40 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 1800 block of West Mockingbird Lane near Harry Hines Boulevard. Coronado was at the complex to pick up his 17-year-old daughter and take her to school.

He had just gotten off of work at Con-way freight, where he was a trucker for the past 18 years, Segura said. As of Friday, police had not ruled out robbery as a possible motive.

Coronado was a big man and his sister said she believes it would have taken more than one person to take her brother down so violently.

"Martin would have fought," she said. "I know he would have. We think it was probably more than one [killer]."

Coronado is married to a niece of Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Pauline Medrano, who is also the chair of the Dallas City Council Public Safety Committee. But Segura said her brother has been separated from the mayor pro tem's niece for six years and they want him remembered for more than his connection to the politically powerful family.

Coronado was a lifelong Dallas resident who loved riding his Harley motorcycle and was dedicated to his daughter and 21-year-old son, Segura said.

In addition to his sister and and children, Coronado is also survived by his mother and five brothers. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Dallas County constable won't release names of those he fired:
Dallas County Constable Derick Evans refuses to release the names of 11 deputies he fired for allegedly falsifying official documents.
Evans fired the deputies after launching his own investigation into deputies in his Precinct 1 office who serve civil court papers.
In June, I requested the names under Texas' open records law.
I recently got a response from the district attorney's office civil division, which handles open records requests for county elected officials.
"Please be advised that the constable has no responsive documents to your request," Michele Tapia, of the DA's Office, wrote in her letter.
A total of 16 deputies were fired after the auditor expanded the investigation to all five constable offices.
Evans is being accused of retaliating against deputies who came forward to report allegations of wrongdoing against him that led to his indictment in December on a number of felony charges.

Precinct 3 Constable Ben Adamcik did supply information about the deputy he fired.

Precinct 2 Constable Michael Gothard provided details about the three deputies he fired.

Precinct 4 Constable Roy Williams said he did not have anything that was responsive to my request.

The county initially tried to withhold the names of those fired, but the Texas Attorney General ruled that it was public information that should be released.

Yesterday afternoon, a man -- unmasked, apparently -- robbed a downtown Beaumont bank. It was less than a mile from the police department, so police weren't long in getting there. And if they had left their CSI kit at the station, it probably wouldn't have mattered much. According to the Beaumont Enterprise:

Officers who were dispatched to the scene found a man counting money on a sidewalk a few blocks away with "bulging" pockets.

A gambler, indeed.

App on Craigslist seller's stolen iPad helps authorities track robbers to Dallas:

An Ellis County man used an app on his stolen iPad to help police track down a group of armed robbers.

WFAA-TV (Channel 8) talked to the man, who asked that his name not be used, about a sale on Craigslist that didn't go as planned.

The robbers showed up at the man's Ovilla house, presumably to buy his MacBook, which he'd listed for sale on the auction website.

It soon became clear that they had no intention of paying for the computer, and they also demanded his iPad, at gunpoint.

Fortunately for the victim, he'd downloaded a "find my iPhone" application that allowed police to track the robbers.

They were arrested on the Dallas North Tollway 45 minutes after the robbery.

The defenders continue to amaze people with their ease of use but more importantly how effective they are in stopping someone trying to hurt you.

Recently, about every day this last week, I have been demonstrating the tools for police, military and civilians. The most amazing thing was the hand gun disarm from a sheriff. I give him an air-soft gun and told to shoot me as soon as I move. I stood with my hands up then made my move, the gun dam near flew out his hands and into mine. He experienced such great pain that his mind just opened his hand! I'm not saying this to act like a big man or bragging but the techniques just plainly work and work very well.

What did I do? I simply controlled the muzzle of the weapon with a cupped hand, and moved the edge of the defender onto his thumb and pressed against the thumb bone and the handle. The handle is a "non compressible surface" and so is the edge of the defender. The thumb bone, on the other hand isn't. So, the pain felt in the thumb is massive and you just want to let go and get away from the pain. He can't turn the weapon back on you as you control where its pointing, all they can do is let go! It happens so fast your mind doesn't have time to get around what is happening. Kind of like when you are getting burned you just instinctively react, well, this is the same thing. Your mind goes into a survival mode and you drop the gun, which I then rotate out of the hand and presto.

Now, I'm not suggesting you run around and weapons disarms for fun but if you have to do one, it's good to know what to do. A self defense weapon is an excellent tool to perform such and save your life or the life of your loved ones. The self defense weapon is also a very good tool to counter home invasion attempts. Also, of course, a self defense weapon is one one personal defence item you have in your mix of self defense tools.

Lastly you should get some capability to do and understand the physical mechanics of weapons disarms. It is better to know how to disarm someone if you really need it rather then becoming a victim or a statistic. Home invasion doesn't usually end to well and you need any chance to fight your way back to safety.

I wanted to share this article with the defender group. I posted a similar article over on the home self defence blog. But thought all of you might find this a good read too..

What I'm tell you here is that you have to live with yourself when it comes down to how much damage to another human being you are willing to live with. Now realize that in a home assault or home robbery, the morons are not there to fix you supper and or tuck you into bed at night with a cup of hot coco. They typically mean to rob you at the minimum and they have no issue harming you in the in the process of this robbery. So you have to decide what level you are willing to live with in your own families self protection. Once you have that clear, then you can start to realize your “layered” options for your own residence self protection. If you are not willing to take a life then a shotgun is out of the question. Also, if you are not willing to risk the death of your unwanted guests, then tasers might be also be off the plan.

Second, with your “rules of engagement” defined, you next have to look at your house self protection as a layered methodology. What I'm pointing out here is that you must choose implements of self defense that span across the range of attack. Specifically, you should have some long distance kit, medium range implements of self defense, and up close range tools in your mix of tools.

Man fires bottle rocket at police in southeast Dallas apartment complex: "

A man shot a bottle rocket at a Dallas police squad car Monday night, hitting an officer who was trying to break up an illegal fireworks celebration at a southeast Dallas apartment complex.

Officers arrived at the Creekside Villas in the 300 block of North Jim Miller Road around 9:30 p.m. after receiving a tip from a neighboring complex that fireworks were being shot off to celebrate Independence Day.

Police found a crowd of about 100 people in the complex's southern portion. When several people began shooting fireworks into the air, officers tried to disperse the group by driving toward them.

Then an unidentified man fired a bottle rocket at a squad car, hitting an officer in the arm, police said.

Police briefly chased the man on foot before losing sight of him. By that time, the crowd had broken up, so officers were unable to take additional action.

The officer didn't need medical attention, police said.

As you look over these stats, you just have to wonder what if they had a defender. I know from the lots of stories I get in from around the world just the sight of a defender has stopped attacks in their place. We have a new defender out! I was always looking for a smaller defender, credit card size, and on of our fans came up with one, independently. We call it the RP defender, after the inventor or mashup artist, Robert Pearson. He send me a picture of one, and I sent it to Jon Jenkins Sensei... and he prototyped several up for examination. He, I liked it. So I moved it forward into production will all the rights and presto, we have a new pocket size defender. It's selling well too I might add. So, keep this a quick post, go take a look and let me know what you think. I do believe it will be great for womens self defense, personal self defense, personal safety, and martial arts.

As we can see, a defender in the car might have stopped this car jacking nut altogether! When you think of your self defense, it isn't always where you might think you have to defend yourself. A self defense weapon (defender) should be handy in your car too! I would suggest a more aggressive tool like a Defender 2 or the like. A federal grand jury has indicted a carjacking suspect who led police on a wild August chase that ended on a Dallas Love Field runway in August.

Michael Laurence Browne (right), 46, of Dallas faces one count of interfering with security screening personnel, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Dallas. The indictment, which is posted below, alleges that Browne knowingly assaulted an airport security employee with a dangerous weapon (his truck) when he drove through a fence and nearly hit the guard, the U.S. attorney's office said.

Browne also faces charges in a string of violent robberies throughout the Dallas area committed in the weeks before his August 19 arrest.

If convicted of the federal charge, Browne faces up to life in prison and a $250,000 fine. He remains in the Dallas County Jail, where his bail is set at $870,000.

Hey all, I just finished the defender newsletter for June 2010. In it I talk about self defense videos, the Berlin wall, and where to get FREE online martial arts training. Attempted kidnapping reported in West Covina: "WEST COVINA - A teenage girl escaped a would-be kidnapper Wednesday after kicking him in the groin, police said.
The incident occurred about 4:45 p.m. as the 16-year-old girl was walking home from school on Cortez Street near Prospero Drive when she was approached by a dark blue, late-model Toyota Camry, West Covina police Officer Eddie Flores said in a written statement.
A man inside the car asked the victim if she needed a ride, the officer said. When she replied that she didn't, the man walked up to her, grabbed her by the arm and began pulling her toward his car.
The victim tried to push the man away and he slapped her in the face, Flores said. The girl then kicked the man in the groin and ran away.
The failed kidnapper got back into his car and drove west on Cortez Street, he added.
The suspect is described as a Latino man between 30 and 35, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and of medium build, police said. He had brown eyes and brown, wavy hair and thick eyebrows. He wore a black, zippered hooded sweat shirt and baggy blue pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call West Covina police at 626-939-8557, or the anonymous tip line at 626-939-8688. Tips can also be sent via text message to 847411.

Might she still be with us if...?? San Diego teenager Chelsea King, might still be with us if she had carried some from of self defense. At least she might have had a fighting chance! I used to live in Poway where she is from, and walked around lake hodges many times. There seems to more teens missing from the area as well! It drives me crazy to think that maybe a simple tool like the self defense weapon might have been carried along on her run and she might have had a fighting chance; things might be different then they now appear. My heart goes out to the victim and the family. This crime was a discussion point throughout my day and I wanted to remind us all that you self defense needs should be thought about BEFORE you need them!

I went for a short hike this weekend and saw others walking this very deserted trail, all alone, and out in no where. What if they were attacked? A few had walking sticks but do they really know how to use them for their own self defense? On my martial arts website I have DVDs available for a walking stick and how to defend yourself: hanbo is what the Japanese call a walking stick... Also, if you are running or walking in remote area's you should have something to help defend yourself... for example a self defense weapon, a knife, or pepper spray. Don't go out where you might get attacked without some preparation. I know its hard to think about it but look at this poor family and what they have to deal with now?

Here in California weapons are frowned down upon. You just are not supposed to carry one but rather rely on the police for your protection. Lets face it, they can't be everywhere we go and most likely not in these remote places. Not to say attacks don't hit you in a civilized location, i.e., a parking lot or even at the mall. So, what I'm saying is take your safety first and foremost NOW and look at what your options are; do something to protect yourself, your loved ones and your family! Finally, if nothing else get a Defender 2, learn to use it and carry it with you when you go out to these remote area's to exercise or site see! Don't be the next victim!!!

Great way to take away a gun with a self defense weapon!

This technique works so well!!! The bad guy can't wait to give you the gun! The self defense weapon is pressed against the small bone in the thumb. First, as usual the four weapons laws apply 1) clear the angle of attack, 2) control the weapon, 3) disarm the weapon (which this clip shows using a Defender or Predator), and then neutralize your opponent... in this case held at gun point until help arrives. Paige Brusso does a great job on this clip. This clip was part of a much larger shoot thus the time code...

Yolo County jurors on Tuesday convicted a Winters man of killing his wife, though her body has never been found.

Felipe Cruz Hernandez, 39, was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Leticia Barrales Ramos, 28, who disappeared April 12.

The couple's 10-year-old daughter, who prosecutors said may have been asleep in the next room when her mother was killed, testified during the trial.

After weeks of hearing evidence, jurors deliberated for a short time Friday and again Tuesday before announcing in the afternoon that they had reached a unanimous verdict.

Blood stains in the couple's apartment that were genetically matched to Barrales Ramos convinced them she had died and that her husband had killed her, jurors said.

But without a body or a murder weapon, they said, they were unable to determine whether the killing had been premeditated.

'We struggled with the actual event, how it might have taken place,' said jury foreman Mike Sullivan. 'But there was a small window of opportunity, and it only pointed to one person.'

The verdict brought to a close a case that shook the small town of Winters, which had not had a killing in a dozen years.

Lemondo Simmons kidnapped a couple from Dallas' West End in 1992 and raped the woman. Another man spent 16 years in prison for the crime before DNA evidence freed him. This is a case in point that if this woman had a self defense weapon or weapons in her home, things might have been very different. Two attackers and two defenders, this could have been so different.

A Dallas woman says she is not sure she'll ever go back to her Oak Lawn condo after a gunman took her from her bedroom Saturday night and forced her to withdraw cash from an ATM.

A second man held the woman's friend at the condo in the 2700 block of Hood Street near Oak Lawn Avenue and Cedar Springs Road, where he threatened to kill her if she did not cooperate. The women asked that their names be withheld out of concern for their safety.

The woman who was kidnapped said she had gotten into bed about 11 p.m. and her friend stepped outside to get something out of her car. That's when two men approached and forced the friend inside.

The man with the gun came into the condo owner's bedroom.

'I look up and there is a ... man walking in my bedroom with a gun pointed at my face telling me they have my friend downstairs and they want money,' she said.

A quick-thinking Fort Worth police officer helped investigators arrest three teenagers -- two 15 year olds and a 16 year old -- in connection with last weekend's beating of a 66-year-old pizza deliveryman, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The teens are accused of robbing and severely beating Frederick Rein as he delivered pizza Saturday night to a vacant house in the 1200 block of Bessie Street, the newspaper reported. They have been charged with delinquent conduct/aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Reins remains in an intensive care unit with severe head injuries that police said were inflicted with an aluminum baseball bat.

Most of this article sucks. If this doesn't turn your stomach and show you that YOU need to take charge of your self defense, nothing will. Clearly, this author has no dealings with violence. A person who is intent on attacking you isn't going to run away if you have "personal alarm"! Stupid!!! Also, noticing who is close to you isn't any form of self defense. So, I would suggest that "We are the weapon"... we need to know how to defend ourselves and our loved ones. Like a self defense weapon is a great start... also knowing how to use a knife and how to defend ourselves against weapons, is another great start....

Roseville police said today they are investigating why a reported home invasion ended in a bloody scene where three people lay dead.

The incident, which began when a 16-year-old boy called police to report an intruder in the home he shared with his parent, resulted in the shooting of his mother and father and the suicide of the intruder, police said.

All three people were found dead in an upstairs bedroom of the house on the 1600 block of Alnwick Drive late Tuesday night, police said. The teenager was unharmed.

Neither the mother, 49, the father, 52, or the suspected shooter, a 35-year-old man, have been identified, pending notification of family.

'Nothing indicates that this is random,' said Roseville police detective Jerry Wernli said. Police suspect no other people are involved in the killings.

Roseville police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said that shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday police received a 911 call from the son reporting that a man, whom he did not know, had entered his house and shot his parents. The boy escaped, although it's unclear if he fled the house before officers arrived, police said. He was taken to safety by officers.

Police said that although the teen did not know the suspected killer, the man was known to his parents. Detectives are investigating the relationship between the gunman and the boy's parents and also the motive for the killing.

About 10 officers responded initially, Gunther said. Police surrounded the house and closed nearby streets to traffic. They later summoned the Tri-Cities Regional SWAT team, which deployed a camera-equipped robot to check the interior of the house before team members entered the building at about 1:40 a.m.

Five cars, including two Sports-Utility vehicles, were parked outside the house, which was cordoned off with yellow crime scene tape. Detectives and crime scene technicians worked gathering evidence.

Autopsies will be conducted Thursday.

The killings are an anomaly in Roseville, a city known for its low violent crime rate. 2008 FBI statistics ranked the city as the safest from violent crime in the region for cities of similar size. The last homicide in Roseville was in March 2007.

New Email...Nearly got mugged by two large chaps

News Flash.. Or Email that is. I just got this email from a new Defender (self defense weapon) client... Here it is...

Hi Peter... Just to let you know I was in London late the other evening and nearly got mugged by two large chaps. I took my defender out of my pocket and held it sort of as you would a gun... the conversation from the two bad guys went something like this "he has a thing in his hand what is it? Don't know... lets get out of here". End of story.

My defender lives in my pocket just like a set of keys even the police here have not commented on it and even a pocket torch is considered to be an offensive weapon here.

Great little gadget! While I was learning to use it at the self defense /boxing club, it annoyed the hell out of those who were helping me. They were definitely pain compliant and just could not get a grip to hold on me... all simple moves nothing fancy.

I wrote a history lesson on how I got involved with "the men who stare at goats"... Everything from the first Earth Battalion, Jon Ronson, the self defense weapon then known as the "Predator"... here is the a little bit of it and I will provide a clip at the end...

Finally... victims who fight back... what a concept. As you read this blog entry on the particulars, keep in mind what could have been done with a self defense weapon! First case, the guy wouldn't have to be down on the ground to hold his attacker for the police. Rather, he could have done a finger capture and lock out his attackers arm. As the second attacker came on the scene, using the same self defense weapon, with the first attacker attached... he could have fending him off. But, when help jumped in, can you imagine what two good guys with self defense weapons could have done to two bad guys! We need more success stories like this.... and we need to get our self defense weapons in the hands of potential victims...

With out knowing all the details other then here is another dead person due to physical attack, at least with a defender one has a better chance of surviving this kind of attack. I hope we get the word out and start to train more people! A simple knife defense with a defender is to use the defender in a "bonk" configuration... otherwise to "smack" the hand that is holding the knife, if at all possible. If not, then bonk anything you can reach and don't stop!!!

Person of Interest Sought in Murder of East Hollywood Resident: "

Los Angeles:
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is seeking the public’s help
in locating a person of interest who may have been at the scene of a
murder in East Hollywood.

On August 28, 2009, at around 8 p.m., LAPD Rampart Division officers
responded to a radio call of a person screaming at 939 North Mariposa
Avenue in East Hollywood. Officers discovered the victim, Paulina
Ibarra, deceased on the floor of her apartment. The suspect(s) had
apparently entered the victim’s apartment and engaged in a physical
confrontation, resulting in the victim being stabbed to death. The
suspect(s) then left in an unknown location and have not yet been
identified.

However, a person of interest is being sought. This person is believed
to have been at the scene of the crime and is identified as 24-year-old
Jesus Catalan (also known as Brian Nanes or Luis Santiago), a male
Hispanic, five feet nine inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and
brown eyes. He has a tattoo of an unknown figure on his upper right
arm.

Catalan is a parolee at large, and considered armed and dangerous.

LAPD Rampart Division Homicide Unit detectives are asking for the
public’s help in locating him. He is believed to be homeless and

Detective Division, at 213-484-3650. During off-hours, calls may be

The Art Institute of Dallas has scheduled a private memorial this morning for Samantha Michelle 'Shelley' Nance, who was found murdered in her apartment one week ago today. The campus service is open to students, faculty, staff and invited guests.

Funeral services for Nance were held yesterday in her native Italy, Texas. The 20-year-old Italy High School graduate 'loved animals, computers, and anything to do with art,' according to an obituary on the Wayne Boze Funeral Home website. She 'was well on her way to achieving her life's dreams of being an artist.'

Nance had not been seen for a few days before she was found dead in her northeast Dallas apartment, police said. There was no sign of forced entry, leading investigators to believe she was likely killed by someone she knew.

Ok.. it was about time for me to do this! The new site is going to be a lot more functional and contain a lot more information than the old site. Most importantly, the new site is more on the lines of what Google considers relevant material, or it's highly SEO'ed. You'll also see that we have a shopping cart system on the site now as opposed to being transferred over to the awarriorsway.com. Some of the new stuff on the site is a section where I'm going to write articles about self-defense weapons. Also new you will see that I'm tending to call the "defenders" self-defense weapon. I might also posed the new articles here on our blog as well. Defenders update

Wow.. it has been some time since I had the chance to write on this blog. Well, let me say that the defenders have been enjoying a good run, both from sales but also from the growing instructors group. Check it out here http://www.pdws.biz/Certified_Self_Defense_Weapons_Instructors.html. We now have instructors in England, Ireland, Australia, and the US. Many are really moving out too, I must say as they are holding classes and teaching. Everyone is always surprised at how these tools really work, as we all look at them and say "what the heck". However, as time moves on and more use them, its obvious what they can do.

I am also gathering more success stories and should get those up here and the site as well. I have done an upgrade to the http://www.pdws.biz/ site too. I will be adding more pages in the very near future.

I have had to secure a new manufacturing group for the tools as well. We are having them made in America, good news, and as such we are doing our part in supporting our economy.

Oh, also worth noting, our defenders have been used in Iraq and Afghanistan! Our tools go to war!! Can't get into the details but privately the stories are very good. The most interesting thing or mod that is going on is a lanyard to their wrist. This way they can let the tool dangle while they do a body search but with a quick swing up, the tool lands right in their hands ready for use again. There are always pro's and con's when it comes to things being attached to your body, but it is something that is evolving from the field and worth noting.

We also have something like 13 models now, as if we need more, but they keep getting invented. Our latest commercial version is the "stealth". As you can see it is very small and is low profile for easy of concealment plus use. One of its new items is the offset tail, as it allows for digit removal very quickly (counter grab).

Kerry Sensei was loved by all except the people he picked to demonstrate the techniques on, as in his words: “I kept asking for volunteers and the whole room kept moving farther from me so I just started picking them”. He got a kick out of teaching the class and exposing them to a new self-defense tool.

Both he and Master Porter flew to Chicago to teach and both were well received by the group. I heard that everyone thought they were great teachers and our material was of great value to all who attended. We have also received some good orders from the group as well. In addition, the organizer (Dave Vargas) is now a big fan of the tools, so much so, that he is teaching them to a large police seminar next year. I might join him too! It is good that the tools are finally getting the exposure they deserve. Dave has even started working the tool into his classes and developing new techniques! That is just what an artist should do: absorb the tool into their techniques. Good show Dave!

I am proud to say that I am banned from one of the self defense forums! I had to relearn how many really stupid people there are out there. The defender is one of the newest martial arts tools invented over the last 200 years and people just can't get over it. Many people still want to use a stick to defend themselves and can't move up to a more modern weapon.

Once upon a time, two combatants fought, and one picked up a rock and won the fight.. next time he put it on the end of stick.. and won... and then next he put a small rock on the end of a stick and throw it.. and won.. etc... weapons have evolved and man has used them in combat. The defender takes ones self defense to a whole new level. It is far better and allows you to do things to your opponent that a kuboton can never do. It becomes effortless to defend yourself and to dramatically improve your self defense options.

New to the world, we are seeing those who might still use a musket for their defense... and there is a law of evolution underway here... don't be caught with a musket... old technology.. step up and see the future of self defense tools: the Defenders. http://www.pdws.biz and http://www.awarriorsway.com

Podcasting

Wow… I started podcasting last year and have had great results, both in traffic to my infocard.cc site, but also in emails plus followings! I went to the podcast expo show in 2006 just to see what it was all about and got hooked on the concept. I’m doing audio podcasting at the moment but those who know infocard.cc realize that I have a great video blog engine too… video Blogging is still in its infancy but it is growing.

I’m using switchpod.com as my audio server. You can my podcast program at http://www.switchpod.com/p4701.html so go take a listen. What it has done for my infocard.cc site traffic is just wild. I have been experimenting with new ways to drive people to ones web site, so I have been using forums and podcasting to see which works best. Well, podcasting is hands down the winner. Stats one might ask? Well in October I changed the infocard site completely and also didn’t have much traffic due to how I use the site. Podcasting hit and I went to 5,000 unique visitors in Nov, and 15,000 in Dec! Wow… that is really some traffic eh? And the topic of the podcasts are business not sex! Anyway, if you are looking to drive traffic to your site, this is something to consider.

On another note, as of January, I’m back in Anaheim working from my home office, enjoying the family and re-starting my infocard clients/business. I’m still consulting in SD but that looks to becoming to a close. I have started working on developing my “video directory” business and am putting up a site on that topic over the next few weeks. On the calendar… is the Inaugural ball shoot Jan 20th at the City Club on Bunker Hill. Infocard is shooting the event to document the event and use it as a promotions tool for the club. Should be a fun black tie event. I will be having 3 crews covering the event. The theme this year… it’s a secret every year. Once we are finished with the production, I will put some footage up on infocard.cc for those to see what a great party the Inaugural ball really is…

It has been some time since I have blogged here! Sorry about all of that. Let me say, I'm back from Hawaii where I finally got to see Jon Ronsons "the men who rule the world"... Or something like that... Where I finally got to see my contribution! It's true I wacked the heck out of him!!!!

However, in Hawaii I decided to write my golf book...

I was sitting overlooking the golf course in Hawaii, talking with a friend (Chaplin Tannis) about golf and all the things golfers do wrong; concerning how they approach the game. We watched all of these things pan out, right in front of us... And I got motivated to write the book.

Once back I hooked up with Carl Braun, a person who I met in a training class I was helping in... He is an author, which I didn't know at the time but he did internet marketing. I wanted to get his thoughts on how to get the book out on the market for Xmas. Well, that is where the adventure started... We did the book, and an entire golfing program! The Ronsonator

The new name for the new tool is complete. The "Ronsonator" hit the streets recently and the initial feed back is GREAT. The US Marines that are using it, un-officially, or training with it LOVE it!!!! It truly is a tool without parallel... it under went it's first training without any issues. The individuals that used it found it had a "no nonsense" approach and had a very difficult time not to draw blood. We performed multiple man attacks with the greatest of ease. Training started with the normal Defender 1 and I waited until we had walked through the more “aggressive” models, to finally end up at the Ronsonator. Once the new features were illustrated and practiced a bit, the fun began. With new aggressors that had no idea what we were doing, they came at the Marines with the goal to take them down. Well, all of you who have practiced with a Defender or have been on the business end of said device knows what happened. Needless to say, it was fun for the Marines… and not the aggressors! As the Ronsonator is out in the field now, we should be more feed back on the various new aspects of this tool.
