Attempted kidnapping reported in West Covina

Excellent! Finally a simple fight back that changed the whole thing going down... way to go! You see, you don't have to be a crazy person about your self defense... just a few simple moves, rinse and repeat! In this case only one kick did the trick. I wish she had a self defense weapon!!!

Attempted kidnapping reported in West Covina: "SV05-KIDNAP composite.JPGWEST COVINA - A teenage girl escaped a would-be kidnapper Wednesday after kicking him in the groin, police said.
The incident occurred about 4:45 p.m. as the 16-year-old girl was walking home from school on Cortez Street near Prospero Drive when she was approached by a dark blue, late-model Toyota Camry, West Covina police Officer Eddie Flores said in a written statement.
A man inside the car asked the victim if she needed a ride, the officer said. When she replied that she didn't, the man walked up to her, grabbed her by the arm and began pulling her toward his car.
The victim tried to push the man away and he slapped her in the face, Flores said. The girl then kicked the man in the groin and ran away.
The failed kidnapper got back into his car and drove west on Cortez Street, he added.
The suspect is described as a Latino man between 30 and 35, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and of medium build, police said. He had brown eyes and brown, wavy hair and thick eyebrows. He wore a black, zippered hooded sweat shirt and baggy blue pants.
